A passionate global traveler, Tracey has seen firsthand the brilliance and economic opportunities Africa holds. A former consultant to fortune five hundred companies, Tracey created SolvingLocally to change limited perceptions of Africa and share today’s Africa: a continent transforming itself and the world.
Director of Operations
With over twenty-five years of experience working in international development and emergencies zones, Sylvie has served in UN leadership roles in Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, and the Caribbean. She is the recipient of the 2020 Human of UNICEF Staff Appreciation Award for living UNICEF'S core values. Leading teams on the ground, she has deep regional expertise and experience working with local governments and resilient communities, promoting youth empowerment, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
Creative Director
Monica is a seven-time Emmy winning documentary film and television producer and former senior editor at KQED public television station. She produced and shot the award-winning documentary “Journey of the Bonesetter's Daughter”. She has worked for the Center of Investigative Reporting, examining stories from around the globe. Monica is the recipient of the duPont-Columbia Award, Murrow Awards at national and regional level, as well as recognized by the Investigative Reporters & Editors.
